If I ever go to New York with you, I’ve got your back on said manhunt. It’s sickening that anyone would stoop so low like that.

I read shit like this far too often for my liking. Is my severe misanthropy really that surprising in a world like this?

If I ever return to New York, I will be doing some serious ass kicking.

My friend Emily got to go to Maryland Deathfest this year and she was so excited. I was excited for her, not to mention extremely jealous, and sent her a lovely message and everything about how I hoped that she had so much fun.

On day two, someone roofied her.

This…this just gets my blood boiling. How does something that is supposed to be the best experience of your life turn into the most traumatic? Thank the gods that someone got her out of there before the worst was to happen, but still; I know how that feels. You have literally no control over your body and, worse, hardly any control over your mind. If you don’t have someone to watch out for you when that kind of thing happens, you are FUCKED. What I wouldn’t have given to have my best friend with me when I went through that myself. But the important thing is, the asshole didn’t get the chance and I’m so grateful that she had someone with her because if things had taken a turn for the worst, my heart would have shattered. Apparently, the guy is from New York, so I might have a manhunt on my hands.

Now, I know that not every man out there is a skeezy asshole (hasty generalization only a fool would make) but it’s you scumbags who are giving the male population a bad name and I hope you realize that. When you tarnish your reputation as a man, you distort the images of every other man out there. Not only should you be ashamed of yourselves for the way you’ve treated those women, but your male counterparts everywhere should not have to endure the same judgments.
